WP8 – Stage 2 – Testing, verification and validation of the platform's functionality
Planned activities during stage 2
Activity 8.1
Comprehensive testing, verification and validation of the interoperability of the components integrated into the IoT platform.
Activity 8.2
Optimization of the complex functioning of the IoT platform and evaluation of its performance.
Activity 8.3
Conducting various types of experiments to explore the capabilities of the developed IoT platform for adaptation to and use in various scenarios and use cases.
Results achieved during stage 2
- Stable functioning of the EMULSION IoT platform has been achieved when using different user devices, sensor sets, monitoring stations, communication modes, data processing algorithms, operating systems, etc., simultaneously, in different operating conditions and to achieve different tasks.
- Optimal functioning of the EMULSION IoT platform has been achieved and a comprehensive (and high!) assessment of its performance has been formed.
- The spectrum of scenarios, use cases and IoT application areas of the developed platform has been expanded, demonstrated through various IoT prototype systems developed on its basis, functioning in the IoT areas of "smart environment", "smart healthcare", "smart infrastructure", "smart water supply", "smart home", etc.
- The results achieved under this work package are presented in the following scientific publications:
- In journals with an impact factor / impact rank – 2 publications
